Joseph Saseen, Pharm.D.

With 25+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy, cardiovascular prevention, and academic leadership, I support healthcare and life sciences teams in building evidence-based strategies for lipid management, hypertension, and population health. My work focuses on translating guideline-level science into real clinical practice models that improve outcomes at scale. I serve as Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Professor of Clinical Pharmacy (with a Family Medicine appointment) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where I lead clinical enterprise development and partner relationships while continuing active clinical practice in cardiovascular risk reduction. My scholarly work includes 200+ peer-reviewed publications and major contributions to national cholesterol and statin-intolerance guidance, helping organizations align care delivery with current evidence and practical implementation.
