Thomas Brown, MD, MBA is Chief Medical Officer of Sygnomics, a startup applying systems biology & AI to help oncologists match cancer patients to personalized therapies. He is on the affiliate faculty at Institute for Systems Biology. He has more than two decades of oncology leadership spanning academic medicine, health-system administration, and health-tech innovation, including a decade in senior leadership at MD Anderson Cancer Center, service as COO of the University of Arizona Cancer Center, and his subsequent role as Executive Director of Swedish Cancer Institute at Providence St. Joseph Health, where he led the SCI’s Personalized Medicine Program and co-chaired the system Cancer Leadership Council. Dr Brown has additional startup experience in RWD/RWE having served as CMO at Syapse. His areas of expertise include precision/personalized oncology, cancer center development & operations, early phase oncology clinical trials, GI oncology, RWD & RWE, and global oncology.
