Adam Byrne

Professor of Respiratory Immunology with expertise in translational immunology, inflammatory lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis and asthma. I advise on therapeutic target identification and validation, biomarker strategy, drug discovery and preclinical development. My research focuses on macrophage biology, immunometabolism and human experimental medicine. I have experience advising biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies on scientific strategy, therapeutic development and evaluation of preclinical evidence, and am an inventor on therapeutic patents. I can support scientific due diligence, asset and target evaluation, translational strategy, biomarker development and R&D decision-making.
